On May 23, 2023 we were able to donate $5,000 to Burrito Boys, an organization that provides support for the homeless in San Diego. We were able to give them their largest donation yet, and we are excited to continue volunteering for Burrito Boys!!

On May 19, 2022 we were able to donate once again to the Challenged Athlete Foundation. Our $6000 that were we were able to donate went toward sporting equipment such as special wheelchairs, prosthetics, and bikes to support the strong challenged athletes in San Diego.
We are so honored to have been able to donate $10,000 to the Challenged Athlete Foundation on May 26, 2021! It was so inspiring to meet some of the athletes that benefited from our donation. The Challenged Athletes Foundation have helped over 26,000 individuals with physical challenges to be able to play sports since 1994. Our donation went toward sporting equipment such as special wheelchairs, prosthetics, and bikes to support the strong challenged athletes in San Diego.
Because of the donations from our members, FAV was able to donate $5,000 to the Center for Community Solutions at their annual Tea and Tonic luncheon fundraiser on June 18, 2021. Casey White and Samantha Quinlan, Co-presidents of FAV for the 2020-2021 year presented the check to the organization. CCS does incredible work in our community supporting women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
We have worked with the Friendly Children's Garden School in Oceanside for years and our Christmas Party is one of our most popular events. Every year, FAV girls donate around 100 presents based on each child's age and interest as well as 100 decorated stockings. We have multiple craft stations, cookie decorating stations, a present station, and even a visit from Santa! Grace Souza has lead the Christmas Party from 2018-2021 and has received a total of $1,500 in donations for the school as well.
We our very proud of our work with New Haven Youth & Family Services. In addition to our events providing for their foster boys a Birthday Party in a Bag, Surprise Christmas Decorating, Christmas Stockings
and Easter Baskets we also donated $1,100 toward a new Band Saw for their Wood shop Career

For the first time this year we held a Walk for A Well Fundraiser with Maranatha and raised money to build our very own well in Kenya. During the event, we reenacted what women and girls of Kenya have to do every day to survive. The community we helped in Africa created a video to thank our event leaders Emma Reeves and Mia Goldman for their efforts to help and raise awareness and funds to build another well in their community.

FAV donated a sports wheelchair for basketball to children at Adaptive Sports & Recreation Association. We raised $3,000 to purchase the wheelchair at our 2017 Queen of the Beach tournament. |

FAV has supported Burrito Boyz once a month for the past two years. Their mission is to supply a hot meal and comfort the homeless population of San Diego County every Sunday. |
FAV partnered with Parisi Speed School and CKO Kickboxing to get fit and also raise over $2100 for the Make-A-Wish foundation and Kaylee's dream to visit London and Paris.
Female Athlete Volunteers attended the Athletes Saving Athletes Program to learn how to recognize serious signs of head/neck injuries, heatstroke, and concussions that can occur during athletic events.
Female Athlete Volunteers raised $8000 and helped send a local San Diego girl and her family to Disney World. Members raised money through our Queen of the Beach volleyball tournament, selling newspaper subscription, donations from Dr. Suzanne Mills the Mike Whitmarsh Foundation and corporate sponsors.
2016 Queen of the Beach Volleyball Tournament - FAV was so excited to complete our 4th annual beach volleyball tournament on December 4th, 2016 at North Dog Beach, Del Mar. We raised $4000.00 for Voices for Children, San Diego which is an organization that helps foster children. The funds were utilized by the VoC's Learning to Succeed scholarship program.
Friends & Family Community Connection - food packaging event to support the hungry in Tanzania & Haiti.
FAV loves this event and participated in two food packaging events in 2013.
Halloween Party Touissaint Academy
FAV hosted a Halloween party for at-risk teens ages 14-18.
St. Leo's Headstart Preschool - sponsored a holiday party for 50 preschoolers.
